Theme for the 2017 UN Environment Assembly

Pollution will be the theme for the 2017 UN Environment Assembly


Over 100 Member States submitted their inputs regarding the proposed themes for the Third Session of the United Nations Environment Assembly. Both the Committee of Permanent Representatives Bureau and the UN Environment Assembly Bureau decided that Pollution will be the focus for the 2017 Environment Assembly.



UN Environment calls on all the Member States and the accredited Major Groups and Stakeholders to submit further inputs on how the 2017 UN Environment Assembly should address pollution.Also submit your suggestions on the prefered title for the theme on pollution.
