GEO-6 High Level Group meets to launch global assessment process

During the weekend prior to the 2nd United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-2) the GEO-6 High Level Intergovernmental and Stakeholder Advisory Group (HLG) met to make decisions on various elements of the GEO-6 publication in order to launch the global assessment process.

Meeting kicks off GEO-6 Global Process

The Scientific Assessment Panel (SAP) of the sixth Global Environment Outlook (GEO-6) held its first inception meeting for the GEO-6 global report to select the next GEO-6 co-chairs and main authors. Pierre Boileau, Matt Billot and DEWA staff from the UNEP regional office for Asia Pacific attended the meeting from 28 June- 1 July 2016 in Bangkok.
