The last face-to-face meeting of the UN Environment Global Mercury Partnership – “Mercury Waste Management Area”, was held on Sunday, 6 October 2019 in Bilbao, Spain back to back with the 2019 ISWA Congress, that took place from 7 to 9 October:

Amongst others, this meeting is an opportunity to review recent progress within the Partnership Area as well as relevant activities by partners, discuss future priority actions, including in supporting the implementation of the Minamata Convention, as well as contribution of the Partnership Area to technical work under the Basel and Minamata conventions, and exchange on communication and information sharing.
